Before any building commenced I needed to find somewhere that would give me the space to work, not be
sensitive to the odd splash of epoxy and not be affected by 6 inches of dust that will appear in the months
to come.
A brief discussion with the other half knocks my first idea of 'building it in the house' on the head. Epoxy
doesn't come out of carpets, sofas or just about anything else. So, I built a shed. A big'un.
The structure went up in a day, with only the roofing felt, floor and door to go on, which took me the best
part of six weeks doing little bits at a time. Just goes to show many hands make light work, and I'd still
be putting up the damn thing if I hadn't had a helping hand from Ray and Kev.
Well, the shed's done. Door on and locked. I've still got to put in lighting and a powerpoint, but I can't
wait any longer. It's summer and there's plenty of light gets in. If I need power I'll be running exension
leads from the house at the minute. I figure it can wait till the nights draw in before I drill a big hole in
the kitchen wall to run a power lead through.
Now for the exciting bit... opening the boxes to see exactly what I get to play with!
