I K.M. Shantha Kumar (29) hail from Kaliyur Village, which is very near to the famous temple town Kanchipuram of TamilNadu and belong to traditionally SriVaishnava Thennacharya Sampradaya Iyengar family. My grandfather late Sri. K.M. Manavala Iyengar is a renowed Divya Prabanda Adhyapaka and Pancharatra Agma Vidhwan who served as Chief Archaka at Sri Venkateshwara Perumal Devasthanam, Secunderabad. Sri. Venkateshwara Temple, Pittsburgh, USA. Sri Siva Vishnu Temple of Washington D.C. USA. We are Shishyas of Sri Mudaliandan Swami Thirumaligai.
I hold a Masters Degree in Computer Applicaions (MCA) from the reputed Bharathidasan University of TamilNadu. I am married to Vijayalakshmi and blessed with beautiful daughter Vaishnave. I am working as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in a renowed software organisation (Yahoo Inc) at Bangalore.
Apart from my Academic and Professional career I am very much actively involved in the services of Sri Vaishnava Sampradayam and in Sri Mudaliandan Swamin Thirumaligai activities.
As a founder Treasurer of Sri Srivaishnava Sampradaya Sabha, Secunderabad, organised number of Discourses on Alwars and Acharyas and conducted classes for various Stotra Patas and Upanishads and also organise Annual Thiruppavai and Sahasranama Recitation competetion under the able guidance of President Sri. S. Santhanam, IAS (Retd. Special Chief Secy. of A.P.) and Sri. K.M. Govindan Secretary of the Sabha.
My father Sri. K.M. Sampath Kumar is a Senior Executive Engineer (Retd.) in Hyderabad Industries Ltd. Hyderabad who is also the President of Hyderabad Comitte of Sri. Mudaliandan Swamy Thirumaligai. My uncle (Chittapa) Sri K.M. Govindan MA, MBA is a Branch Manager in Orient Paperbacks is secretary of Hyderabad Sri. Mudaliandan Swamy Thirumaligai. My brothers Sri. K.M. Suresh Kumar MCA (Satyam Computers, Hyd.) and K.M. Santosh Kumar (MCA) always give their support to all my activities.
