Diamond Stitch Knitting
These white samples are done with red heart worsted on size 7 knitting needles. The top two repeats are done by replacing all the k1 p1 with just purl stitch.
These pink samples are done with chunky worsted weight yarn on an adult small gauge hat loom. The bottom is done with just purl stitch and the top part of the sample is done with the garter groups.

Row 3: k1, *p1, k1, p1, k5 (p1, k1) twice; rep from *
Row 4: k1, * (k1, p1) twice, k3, p1, k1, p1, k2; rep from *
Row 5: k1, *k2, (p1, k1) 3 times, p1, k3; rep from *
Row 6: k1, *k3, (p1, k 1) twice, p1, k4; rep from *
Row 7: k1, *k4, p1, k1, p1, k5; rep from *
Row 8: repeat row 6
Row 9: repeat row 5
Row 10: repeat row 4
Row 11: repeat row 3
Row 12: repeat row 2
Repeat rows 1-12
Mark you loom to keep the p1 k1 sorted out. Just count ahead and put a thread loop around the target peg.
All of the garter groups (k1, p1) start and end with p1. If you end up with a k1 you need to go back and check your work.
