I
tatted this hat for my niece Amanda.It is from the Julia Sanders book of tatting. The directions were so hard to follow. I found
the same pattern in Helen Chenso's Tatting For Baby and following her excellent
directions I was able to complete the pattern I worked the hat in size
60 thread. The stitch closest to the front of the hat is crochet knot stitch.
The stitches in the rows before the round motifs are tatted mesh stitch.
