Introduction to the Three Divine Persons
Is God One (according to scripture) or
is God Three (according to
tradition)?
Firstly, this series is dedicated
to my
teacher and helper ... "the only wise God our Saviour!"
Secondly, I am fully
aware that
this series of articles exposing "the Most Holy Trinity" teaching is
going to isolate me in some cases and may mean I loose you as a
friend. I also am aware that it is very hard to break mindsets
ingrained within
people, from a lifetime of instilled tradition to the teaching systems
people are
introduced to as they enter a denomination or a cult. Most of us
have been there, haven't we? Through the various
subtle forms of manipulation and brainwashing techniques, organizations
use. Moreso in the religious sense; even
with good intentions a lot of the time. The very reason we need
the mind of Christ when issues are at stake, with our senses trained to
rightly
divide the word of truth.
Therefore ... gotcha Bible
ready? Or should I say ... gotcha sword
sharpened? It's double edged you know! Meaning, it not only
cuts and exposes, but reveals and portions ... the true meat of God
from the cover fat and other impurities.
As always, my line to others,
would
be not to follow what I say (or anyone
else for that matter) but to take everything to the Lord, making His
written word the final authority in your life. Also, being
prepared to go for broke for the truth as 2 Cor. 13:8 does not hold
back from ...
"For we can do nothing against the truth,
but for the truth."
As I have said before a number
of times, not one person on this
so-called planet holds the full
truth (I'm afraid this does mean you will have to fire your guru or
spiritual mentor). However, if you believe the
Bible you hold in your hand, is
God's word (that's fully without error - coz if it is aint, it can't be
God's
word) then you may not have all the truth within yourself after all
(stating the
obvious again - or does that shatter your world?). However, what
you happen to hold in your little wee hand (namely the Holy Bible) will
be the truth, and nothing but the
truth. Coupled with allowing you to have full access to divine
revelation, through the Holy
Ghost.
Amazing? Yes! Hard
to take
in? Yes! But true nevertheless! Coz God's reliable
word
says so! Do ya believe it!?
Okay, with this first truth
hopefully established (bearing in mind this
will cause a huge battle in the minds of individuals alone) that you do
not possess all the truth within yourself, but at the same time, can
hold and access
God's written
word in tangible form. As well as getting God's mind on things
(above
mans), then
please consider this point (really giving it much thought):
The
scripture is very clear about two things ... that God is one and that there is but one God.
Right? Furthermore, every sphere within established Christendom,
would largely agree with this. However, most of these spheres
would also both, additionally and contradictorily state ...
"although God is one, He (now sometimes She) is expressed, or revealed,
as Three separate people within this Oneness called God." Is this
not true also?
Taking this further, as the
religious system does ... by
saying God is One, while at the same time saying He is three separate
people (in eternal agreement as three coequal persons together), you
will have no way of avoiding having to go along with this regularly
made point also
... "no one can say He is three Gods and be correct!"
Isn't
that how it
goes, within the system? In regards to the ban on saying God is
made up of three Gods! Furthermore, do you know why? By
reading these treatises you will be fully informed and know
why. Why not discover this now? Or at least give it some
prayerful and serious consideration? Because, to put it in a
nutshell, before we go any further, and the reason you can say, "God is
three eternal co equals, as three eternal persons, but never
Three Gods" ... is because, if you ever have to adhere to Him being
three
Gods to make sense out of this paradox, or
see the contradiction the Trinity holds and fully question it, you will
both see and end up back at the very beginning. Back at the
Trinity's origin that is! Pre Christian ... as a
pagan deity staring you right in the face.
Moving on, and rounding
off this intro ... let me make this
statement plain
and clear, that cannot or should never be ignored: In reality,
you should never be able to say that the Godhead is "the three Divine
Persons", but be forbidden to call
the Godhead "three Gods" at the same time. This is plain crazy,
if you really
think about it (which you are not supposed to do, as the Trinity
apparently can't be explained)! Or, it is an oxymoron at best, or
a
contradiction at worst! Moreover, being something you could never
go along with, if
this truth hit home and you were serious about the word.
Who
calls God three divine
persons anyway? The answer is simple ... it is the
teaching, endorsement, or (at best) the notion
of Christendom! Please
view this
web site for a start!
The evidence is clear, graphic and overwhelming! Here is a direct
quote from
this site (my emphasis) ...
"In Orthodox terminology the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are called three divine persons."
In addition, the teaching that
God is "not made up of "Three Gods" but
"Three Divine Persons" is widespread, official, and accepted throughout
the mainstream denominations in general. Please google "three
divine persons", and see what happens? Thatz ... key in "three
divine persons" at google.com, and see what you get?
Basically, this is not sound
doctrine and cannot be effected or exposed
as a lie, while the Mainstream churches get their way. The
reason? Coz this would bring the whole "three - separate -
individual
- divine persons" issue right under scrutiny, where it should be.
Therefore, ask
yourself this
... if 'a divine person' is not 'a god' then what is?
If you are still with me, here'z the simple comparison between the
spirit of truth and the spirit of error:
According
to
tradition ... the three
distinct and three
divine persons
acting as God!:
This is supposedly ...
God the Father (the
older man), God the Son (the younger man), and God the Holy Spirit (the effeminate man
or lady).
Yes, the three distinct (and tangible) men, who supposedly came down and
interfered with Babel. It is also the three who supposedly came and ate with Abraham, to warn him of Sodom's coming
fate. As
well as the three who supposedly and (therefore) contradictorily
dwell eternally and coequally together, as one in the Godhead.
According to
scripture ... the word of God!:
Jude 1:25: "To the only wise God our Saviour"!
As 1 John 4:6: "We are of God: he that
knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of
God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the
spirit of error."
Who is of God? Welcome
to the following
treatises! I hope you will
"heareth us" and be
enlightened, informed, and changed; as you
endeavour to swallow the meat and spit out the bones:
